Twinkle Babies & Twinkle Stars
Our exclusive Twinkle Babies™ – ages 2-3, 3-4, 4-5: an introductory dance class that is unique and valuable in the dance industry. The secret to the class is that it is structured and fun! It contains ballet, tap, and creative movement. Young dancers learn the necessary steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement in a positive environment. Engaging music is used to get these little dancers inspired to dance. The use of props such as “dancing bears,” hula hoops and maracas, enables the young dancers to use their imagination, creativity and, most of all, have fun!
Combo Tap/Jazz is a combination class for students in our Primary Division (ages 5-7). These combination classes establish a love for dance while promoting coordination and concentration.
Ballet is a disciplined dance form with an emphasis on developing proper body placement, turnout, balance, flexibility and grace. Training begins at the barre with a series of exercises and moves to the center floor to execute various combinations of these exercises.
We are proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.
Pointe is for the intermediate and advanced ballet dancer who has developed the proper placement and strength to dance in pointe shoes.
Pas de Deux
Pas de deux is a class designed to teach male & female intermediate and advanced ballet dancers the art of partnering.
This current dance style combines jazz, funk, and house dance with popular hip hop styles. This is a very energetic class teaching the latest crazes.
Jazz dance classes explore traditional, Broadway and contemporary styles in a fun, energetic atmosphere. Classes begin with a warm-up which stresses technique, flexibility, coordination and strength, followed by progressions across the floor, center work and combinations.
In tap dance the feet become a percussive instrument, creating rhythmic and syncopated sounds. Tap teaches a sense of rhythm, timing, and precision.
Contemporary dance is a combination of interpretive movement incorporating ballet, jazz, lyrical, and modern technique. The class format is similar to a jazz class.
Turns & Technique
This class is an intensive study of jumps, leaps, and a variety of turns with emphasis on proper body alignment, strength building, and developing flexibility. This class is available at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Competition classes are accelerated classes for the serious students who are chosen for the Dance Magic Company through audition or invitation. DM Co. team members compete at competitions in Southern California and perform at community events. To learn more about our program go to Information and select DM Co. Teams.
Each staff member has their temperature taken upon entering and wears a mask while in the studio and office at all times.
Dance floors, hallways and restrooms are mopped before class daily and then cleaned between each class with disinfectant.

Twinkle division dancers (ages 2-4) are the ONLY dancers that are not required to wear masks. ALL OTHER DANCERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS UPON ENTERING THE BUILDINGS.
All dancers have their temperature taken upon entering. Those with temperatures exceeding 100 will not be allowed to attend classes.
Dancers will place their street shoes in the cubbies and proceed into the classroom with their dance bags.
Dance bags should contain: dance shoes, hand sanitizer and a water bottle. They will be placed 6 feet apart around the perimeter of the classroom.
